Programming is a skill like any other. It takes some time till you get the basics and then the more time you invest, the easier it is.
Reasons to learn coding
- Since technology is everywhere around us, you might be curious about how things work. You will maybe appreciate some things more and stop taking them for granted. It could even give you new ideas that you would like to see in the future.
- Coding as a hobby. Like you watch movies, play guitar, read books, or take care of plants, you could also code as a hobby. Write some scripts that would automate things in your life, create your own smart house system, program a robot, etc. There are so many things you can do when you know how to code. It is fun and it is free to start. You need a computer and an internet connection.
- Start a side job. You can earn some extra money if you know how to code and if you are a decent seller. You can create websites for companies, you can make mobile games and earn money from ads, you could sell your applications, etc. Extra money is always good and you work from the comfort of your home.
- Coding as a career. I don’t want to misguide somebody in this direction. However it is a fact that overall employment in computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow 15 percent from 2021 to 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations; If you are really interested and ready to learn, you can start your career in coding.
How to start with coding?
Like any other skill, you should always start with the basics. After you have a good understanding of the basics, it will be very easy to learn other, more advanced things.
